Welcome To Our Home In Sunny Los Angeles, California International students and visitors who come to Los Angeles for a short period of time (1 to 12 months) will be pleased with our friendly and outstanding personal service. Whether you are a student looking for an inexpensive spare room within a family environment or a visitor seeking an affordable bed and breakfast, we hope that you will enjoy what we have to offer. Rest assured, we want you to know that as a family we have been hosting students from all over the world for more than two years. Please note: We ONLY host female students. We are Derek and Anura Lawson. We live in Los Angeles, California with our three children ages 0 to 14 years of age. My husband is an actor /model and I am a teacher with the Los Angeles Unified School District. I am an English teacher and English Tutor. Our daughter Aminah is in 9th grade. Our son Ahmad is in 5th grade. Our daughter Ava is our newest addition and she gets older with each new day. We enjoy having students from other countries come and stay with us. We feel that the knowledge and interactions that we have with these students make us better human beings. We hope that we will have a chance to continue this muliticultural exchange.
