Bed and Breakfast à Kabelvåg, chez Lofoten Rorbuferie Kabelvåg

Kabelvåg is a village in Vågan municipality on the southern shore of Austvågøy island, one of the Lofoten island group in the county of Nordland, northern Norway.

Lofoten Rorbuferie is a "rorbu" cabin resort consisting of old rorbu cabins built by the government in 1923 with a view to improving conditions for the fishermen. The rorbu cabins were restored in 1990 and have been preserved as far as possible in their original style. A holiday here is almost like staying in a living museum, but with modern conveniences and comfort. The seven buildings consist of 15 "rorbu" apartments each with 1-3 bedrooms, lounge, kitchen, shower and toilet. Each unit has from two to ten beds. Prices from NOK 500,- per cabin. Lofoten Rorbuferie is set in idyllic surroundings near the breakwater in Kabelvåg.
