Fort Kochi, The famous Heritage zone is linked to Vypeen through a 5minutes ferry. Its just 2 minutes walk from The Bungalow to Ferry station. While crossing the ferry a picturesque view of Vypeen and Fort Cochin along with its Chinese fishing nets & shipping channel can be seen. Bungalow, the beautiful heritage home is located at the heart of Kerala, with its own history and culture. Built in 1930, this heritage building of Vypeen, is a mixture of Portuguese, Dutch and Kerala architectures. The host family live on the ground floor. The first floor of this three storied house is fully furnished with two spacious double bed rooms and a sit out for the comfort of the guest. One Double bed room is with attached bathroom and western style toilet. Second double bed room is with an exclusive bathroom and western style toilet adjacent to it. Second floor attic is available to guests for common uses like reading , indoor games like chess etc. Each room have wooden floor and wooden ceilings .Wooden staircase connect each floor. The food is cooked in traditional Kerala style and there are wide selection to choose, in case you decide to eat with the family.
